Hampton Court Palace - Wolsey's Gate

2009 marks the 500th anniversary to mark the accession to the throne of England's great Monarch, Henry VIII' 

Originally owned by Thomas Wolsey. In 1525 Henry VIII started redesigning it for a home for himself and his second wife Anne Boleyn. William III and Mary II rebuilt the palace during the late 17th century. Queen Victoria opened the palace to the general public.
